Angera
Taino, near Angera, is situated at the south-east end of Lake Maggiore.
Besozzo
A small lake town. A harbour for sailing boats. Many beaches only a few minutes away. The next bigger city is Laveno Mombello: nice for shopping and dinging out in traditional "Trattorie". Laveno also is the center point of the Lake Ferries which connect all major cities (Locarno, Ascona)
Brezzo di Bedero
One of the very sunny spots of Lake Maggiore, situated only 4 Km south of Luino and 8 Km north of Laveno. Cafes, Restarants and small boutiques are to be found there. Good for sailing, surfing and walking.

Campagnano
Typical mountain village, but only 5 km above Lake Maggiore. The way up to Campagnano is worthwhile taking even if your residence is elsewhere. Campagno has an ancient village-center with small pathes too small for cars to enter. The view is fantastic.
Colmegna
Colmegna lies at the Eastern part of Lake Maggiore. A small village, only 2 kilometers from Luino. There is a nice beach there.
Domaso
Domaso lies at the western part of Lake Come (Lago di Como) opposite Bellagio, the famous "hot spot" of Lago di Como. A good place for as well quiet vacation as for many water-sport-activities. There is a sailing- and windsurfschool.
Ispra
Looking at Ispra you look at soft hills and the dark blue Lake Maggiore. Less tourism but better food, compared to the northern part of Lake Maggiore. Roots go back to the iron age, though there are no more visible signs. What you still may find in the nice historic center are parts of the Roman civilisation and clerical testimonials of the famous Borromaian family which is closely linked to Vatican`s history. Of course you will find lots of the traditional Trattorie with their famous Italian food.
Laveno

Luino
Luino a popular town at the Eastern shores of Lake Maggiore. A beautiful all "centro storico" invites for shopping or a cup of coffee, or "Cappucino" on the terrase. Famous also the regular Wednesday market which attracts thousands of visitors coming from up to 100 km to visit this famous event.
Maccagno
One of Milans favourite Escapes. Maccagno, a quiet town at the eastern shore of Lake Maggiore, only 15 km south of the Swiss border. To Luino with its famous Wednesday-market it is only 5 minutes by car. Lots of small "Ristorante". Maccagno also is a favourite holiday spot for Italian families who spend the whole summer there
Menaggio
Mennaggio´s tradition of tourism goes back to the 18th century. Many of tha famous and beautiful villas there date back to this period.
